Your Accommodation

The accommodation is set in the countryside very near the Devon/Cornwall border in the beautiful Tamar Valley. Very quiet and peaceful, it is the perfect place to relax, unwind and explore the beautiful area. Ideal for walkers and cyclists. The cottage has recently been refurbished to provide a comfortable and attractive place for guests to relax and get away from it all. It is a self contained and separate one bedroomed annexe in a beautiful established good sized garden with lovely rural views. Babies under a year can be accommodated. One well behaved dog is allowed by prior arrangement. There is an electrical car charging point.

Where we are…

The location is ideally placed for anyone looking for a peaceful country break. There are lovely walks and cycle tracks nearby and we are not far from Dartmoor National Park to the east and Bodmin Moor to the west. The village of Stoke Climsland with its very well stocked shop and post office is 3 mins drive (20 mins walk) and Callington at 8 minutes drive has the nearest Tesco. The historic market town of Tavistock with the pannier market and many independent shops is also close at 20 minutes drive. As we are near to the Devon /Cornwall border, running along the River Tamar, we are in a central position to visit the north and south coasts, about 30 minutes drive away. Fowey, Polperro, Looe, Tintagel, Port Issac and Widemouth Bay are not too far.

What you will find…

Little Garden Cottage is a self contained guest cottage, all on one level, in the grounds of our home. It is approached through a shared gateway and drive leading to your own space(s) to park and your own entrance. There is a private patio area to enjoy outside eating with charcoal barbecue. The front door opens into the large and airy open plan kitchen/dining area and comfy sitting room with electric log fire, smart tv, games, books and with views over the garden and the countryside. The kitchen is conveniently kitted out with a new fridge ( with freezer compartment), Nespresso machine, cafetière, microwave and new induction hob and oven. There is very good WiFi. For our 4 legged visitors we provide dog towels and bowls.
